Renfrew County District School Board to host 2018-2019 Specialist High School Major Program launch
Renfrew County – Over 400 Grade 11 Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) students will experience the variety of program streams offered in a daylong event aimed at highlighting and encouraging students to consider post-secondary programs at the college and university level.
The event will begin with a keynote address by Sean Aiken entitled, “Discover your Passion”.

image (2)Emily Norman, a Grade 10 Valour JK-12 School student recently organized a bake sale fundraiser to support the Pembroke Regional Hospital’s Cutting Edge Campaign. The campaign is raising funds for new orthopaedic equipment and new remodeled surgical patient rooms. 
Because of Emily's efforts, the Valour JK-12 School community raised $580 for this important local cause!
