Aya HammonCongratulations to Aya Hammond, a grade 12 student at Valour JK-12 School who placed 3 rd in the French Immersion component of the province-wide French Public Speaking Competition, Concours d’art oratoire.
From February 14th to April 8th, 2022, Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) received student video submissions from 12 school boards and 3 independent schools across Ontario. Students were to record themselves presenting an original speech on a topic of their choice.

Herman Street Update We can appreciate that parents/guardians are eager to receive more information on the upcoming Child Care Centre at Herman Street Public School in Petawawa.
A date of opening for the centre has not yet been established. At present, the site is still being completed and staffed.
