Transportation Subsidy

RCDSB and RCCDSB recognize that, in spite of the collaborative work between RCJTC and bus operators, some families may be  impacted by driver shortages throughout the school year.

A transportation subsidy, similar to the subsidy offered last year, will be offered to parents/caregivers when the bus service is unavailable for a period of at least ten consecutive days using the RCJTC transportation software distances in the table below.

The application process will look different this year.

  1. Complete the subsidy application form via the linked google form (linked here)

  2. The board will verify the information included in the application.

  3. Payments will be made by the board via cheque at the end of the month following the service interruption. These cheques will be made out to the applicant listed and mailed to the address provided in the application.
