Accommodation Reviews

School boards are responsible for establishing and following their own accommodation review policies. Boards' accommodation review policies are to reflect the requirements of the [insert link to Pupil Accommodation Review Guidelines (PDF, 36 kB] which provide direction to school boards to determine the future of a school or group of schools.

The guidelines ensure that decisions taken by a school board regarding the future of a school are made with the full involvement of an informed local community, and are based on the quality of the learning experience for students, and the value of the school to the community.

A copy of the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) accommodation review policy, the Ministry of Education's Pupil Accommodation Review Guidelines and the Administrative Review of Accommodation Review Process documents are available at the RCDSB office and posted below.
