EQAO Testing
The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) is an independent agency established by the Government of Ontario. The EQAO's mandate is to ensure greater accountability, and contribute to the enhancement of the quality of education in Ontario through provincial assessments and reviews of elementary and secondary schools.
The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) develops student assessments based on curriculum expectations. EQAO assessments and their results, along with classroom assessments, provide quality information on the achievements of students, and can help to ensure that they are on the right track. EQAO assessment results are used to improve teaching and learning, and are not used to rank schools.
EQAO Results
Current and past district results are available on the EQAO website. Individual school achievement data is available on the school information profile page for each school.
