Three children getting off a school bus

McNab Public School students arrive for the first day of school in September.

Safe, caring and respectful schools is one of the guidelines of the Renfrew County District School Board's (RCDSB) commitment to creating a safe environment for everyone. We strive to create optimal learning environments in all of our schools and in our community that are free of violence and threats. Our code of conduct outlines our policy for violent behaviour. Physical, verbal, written, sexual, or psychological abuse, bullying, discrimination and the wilful damage of property are not tolerated.

In this School Safety section of the website, you can learn more about the RCDSB's policy for bullying and harassment; steps we have initiated for emergency preparedness; the Accepting Schools legislation; and threat assessment.
