The Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) and your school may be offering a School Based Extended Day/Before and After Program for students from Junior Kindergarten up to age 12. This Program will operate within your child's school by an Early Childhood Educator or through a recreation provider, before and after school.

The School Based Extended Day/Before and After Program is contingent on sufficient enrolment and is funded by parent fees. Child Care subsidies may be available from the County of Renfrew. 

Information

• Operating hours: 7 a.m. until school starts and end of school until 6 p.m. on school days or as determined by third party providers

• Nutritional snacks are provided

• Parents are required to provide transportation (drop off & pick up)

• Activities compliment the regular school day program

• Fees range between $25 to $32 per student, per day depending on the various providers

• Parents can select before or after or both day programs

• Minimum numbers are required to offer the program

Please complete the School Based Extended Day/Before and After Program Family Survey form. The Survey will be open from January 1 to March 31. If you have indicated your intention to enroll your child in the School Based Extended Day/Before and After Program, you will be notified in April as to whether there is sufficient interest to provide a program.
